As the Head Coach at The University of Akron and the Akron Soccer Camp Director, I have heard from coaches time and again, how the players who attended the Akron Soccer Camp have come back with their skills improved, understanding of the game increased and enthusiasm for the game renewed. I am sure you will agree that, being exposed to intensive training, challenging competition, and some of the top college soccer players in the country will improve your play in upcoming seasons.
The Akron Soccer Camp will hold five sessions of camps this summer. Each session is designed for different levels of play. We have a session that is right for the Elite player who is looking to play in college; for the young player who is just learning the basics of the game; and for everyone in between. We also offer The Akron Soccer School on Monday nights during the winter, and two Winter Weekend Camps, the College Prep Camp to help prepare high school boys for college soccer, and The Winter Junior Camp for boys ages 7-14. Overall, we offer a year round program that answers the needs of players at every stage in their development. Each of our camps are staffed by experienced coaches who are eager to pass on their knowledge to you.
The University of Akron, is located in Akron, Ohio, in the Midwestern United States, within just a 30 minute drive from Cleveland, and easily accessible from Columbus, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Dayton, Indianapolis, Buffalo, Toronto, Detroit, New York City and Philadelphia. Residential/Commuter Camp: July 11 - 15 Sold Out - Waiting List Available for Registrations
Expansion of our Residential camp will occur next summer, however, for those hoping to register for this year’s Residential Camp; a waiting list has been created should slots become available. Additionally, those entered on the waiting list this year will be given first option to register for one of the Residential Camp weeks in 2011.
